As winners of the competition, the team were invited to attend the awards ceremony to present our winning concept at the Centre for Architecture and Design in Philadelphia. We spent four days in Philadelphia and two days in New York.

During our time in Philadelphia we visited Chelten Avenue. It was incredible to see the sites that we had only previously experienced through google maps.
But the best experience was my meeting with the librarian Alyson Bauer, one of our 6 key people that were vital part of the project. When we were passing by the library I decided to go inside and ask if she is around. It was a big surprise for her. Alyson was extremely happy to see me and talked about the area.
We also attended the Tyler School of Art to give a lecture to architecture students about the project and competition. We had a discussion about the competition methodology.
In our free time we managed to visit some incredible buildings in Philadelphia. We have really nice experience with visiting Vanna Venturi House by Robert Venturi, because the present owner invited us to have a look from inside. It was so awesome to feel the atmosphere. Our tutor Simon was joking that this what happens when you are with four beautiful girls.
