The Singing Ringing Tree is a musical sculpture standing in the wind on a hill overlooking Burnley. It is a 3-metre tall construction comprising pipes of galvanised steel which harness the energy of the wind to produce a slightly discordant and penetrating choral sound covering a range of several octaves.
As I want to design an interactive installation that is used as a musical instrument, I taught it will be really nice if I visit and experience this music sculpture that is only an hour away from home.
On the hill was really windy and I didn`t stay long, but the views are incredible. It is worthy.
